Intermediate Electric & Performance.

For the player who can play chords all day but can't find their own voice. mazdisocveer.cfd rebuilds your practice around phrasing, tone, and what actually matters when you step on a stage — or just want to feel like yourself on the instrument again.

The intermediate plateau is real. So is the way out.

YouTube and tab sites get you to about year two. After that, most intermediate players hit a wall: they can play a hundred songs but can't play a single one that sounds like themselves. They know their barre chords but the moment someone says "take a solo" they freeze. They upgrade their amp three times and none of it helps.

mazdisocveer.cfd's intermediate track is what I built my practice around for ten years before I started teaching it. It's not flashy. It's a sequence of small, specific changes to how you practice, what you listen to, and how you think about your own playing.

The end state: you can sit in with a band, take a chorus at an open mic, or record a guitar track that you actually want to listen back to.

What's inside the program.

  • Practice architecture rebuild (weeks 1–3). We throw out the broken YouTube practice habits. I give you a 25-minute daily routine that actually creates progress — and we measure it weekly with a short recording.
  • Lead phrasing (weeks 4–6). Three pentatonic positions, how to move between them without thinking, how to play over a key change without freezing. One specific phrasing exercise each week, then we apply it to a song you already half-know.
  • Tone and gear honesty (weeks 4–6 in parallel). Most intermediate players own too much gear and understand too little of it. I help you get 90% of the tone out of what you already have — and only buy more when there's a reason.
  • One song per month, recorded (weeks 7–10). We pick a song together, work through arrangement and tone choices, record it together on a video call, and you end up with a finished track in your pocket for your portfolio.
  • Open mic prep (final week). If you want it, we rehearse the entire set: tuning, transitions, talking to the room, what to wear. We may even book a low-pressure slot together at a local open mic in DFW.

The recording requirement.

Every week, you send me a 90-second audio clip — phone recording is fine. I respond with written feedback within 24 hours, plus a 5-minute voice-note if there's a specific thing to address. If you don't record, you don't progress. That's not a judgment — it's just how the ear hears itself honestly.

Who this is for.

  • You play barre chords confidently but feel stuck on the same five pentatonic shapes.
  • You know over 50 chord shapes but you've never taken a real solo over a song you love.
  • You want to play live but the idea of doing so makes your stomach flip.
  • You've thought about getting a teacher for at least six months and you're tired of waiting.

The intermediate track has the highest completion rate of any program mazdisocveer.cfd runs. Most students finish the 12-pack and sign up for monthly maintenance lessons after.

End the plateau. mazdisocveer.cfd is ready when you are.

Send a 90-second clip of you playing anything — that's the diagnostic. We'll talk through it on the first call.
