Beginner Acoustic Foundation.
Three finished songs in twelve weeks. One chord at a time. The starting point of mazdisocveer.cfd's full teaching method — built for absolute beginners and folks who picked up a guitar, set it down for years, and want to come back without feeling small about it.
What mazdisocveer.cfd's beginner program actually looks like.
If you've never played a guitar before — or you've played enough to know three chords and hit a wall — this is where we start. Twelve weeks, sequenced tightly, with one clear goal: you finish three songs you actually like, on a real guitar, with your own hands.
I don't promise you'll be a shredder. I don't claim you'll read music fluently by week 10. What I do promise is that your hands will know what they're doing — and that you'll have audio proof by week four that progress is real.
Foundation blocks
Open chords (G, C, D, Em). One strum pattern — down-strokes, then down-up. The barre chord is gently introduced at week 3, with a built-in workaround if your hand isn't ready.
First two songs
A simple folk song (think Hozier-lite strummed) and one fingerstyle arrangement. By week 8 you can play both top-to-bottom without stopping. Recorded homework with my feedback each week.
Third song & consolidation
A chord-melody piece that ties together everything from weeks 1–8. By week 12 you have a finished repertoire and a clear roadmap for what comes next — intermediate track, a specific genre dive, or songwriting.
Who this is for.
- You've never held a guitar, or you held one once and put it down.
- You have 15–30 minutes a day for practice, three to four days a week.
- You want to play real songs, not just exercises.
- You're in or close to the USA timezone — I cover every US time zone for online lessons.
Who this isn't for.
- If you've been playing for two years and you know your open chords — start with the Intermediate Electric track instead.
- If you want to read music notation fluently from day one — book a consult call first so I can point you somewhere better.
- If you're looking for a 4-week intensive to learn "Wonderwall" for a wedding — possible, but I'm not the cheapest way to do it.
Pricing.
Single 60-minute lesson: $110 USD. A four-lesson pack: $420. The recommended 12-lesson pack (full program): $1,200. Pack prices exclude applicable taxes and transaction fees — see refund & cancellation policy for pack rollover terms.
What you get beyond the lesson.
- A written curriculum document for every 4-week block — yours to keep.
- Custom tab for every song we cover, with fingerpicking patterns written out in plain notation.
- Weekly async voice-note feedback on your practice recordings (under 2 minutes turnaround).
- A 24-hour reply window for all your questions between lessons.
90% of beginners who finish the mazdisocveer.cfd 12-pack continue into the intermediate or theory tracks. The completion rate is high because the program is short enough to feel finishable.
FAQ for this track.
For this track: a steel-string acoustic with a comfortable neck. I'll send you my starter-recommendations doc after your intake form — three specific models under $400 that I trust. Don't buy before I see you.
No — I've taught sixty-year-olds who hadn't touched a guitar since school and fifteen-year-olds with hands twice the size of yours who couldn't keep time on a 4/4. Hand size is almost never the actual bottleneck. Practice consistency is.
Sure. The same 12-week structure works on electric — we'll just shift some of the repertoire choices and use lighter-gauge strings. Mention it in the intake form and I'll route you.
